Sgt. Edward Ralph Heselton

Sgt. Edward ?Eddie? Ralph Heselton, 23, of Easley, died while serving his country in Afghanistan on August 11, 2005. Born in Greenville he was a son of Verne and Becky Heselton of Greenville. Surviving in addition to his parents are his wife, Melissa Heselton and a one-year old daughter, Meghan Nichole Heselton, of the home; a sister, Carla Heselton, of Mableton, GA; two brothers, Charlie Heselton of Lagoona Hills, CA and Andy Heselton of Greenville; and six half-brothers and sisters. A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Burial will be in Arlington National Cemetery. Flowers are accepted, however, memorials may be made to The Meghan Nichole Heselton Trust Fund, c/o Wachovia Bank, Berea Financial Center, 2312 W. Parker Road, Greenville, SC 29617. The family is at their respective homes.
