Sharon Winkler Horne

Sharon Winkler Horne, 57, of 104 Thornridge Lane, died Friday, May 9, 2008. Born in Seneca, SC, she was the wife of James Kenneth Horne and a daughter of Raymond and Frances Ivester Winkler. Mrs. Horne was a homemaker and she was a member of Washington Baptist Church, Pelzer, SC. Surviving in addition to her loving husband of 18 years, is a daughter, Melissa Sherburn, of Pickens, SC; four sons, Thomas Wood and Marcus Wood, of Anderson, Eric Horne and Jason Wood, of Pelzer; two sisters, Shirley Weaver, of Spring Valley, CA, Susan Finley, of Easley, SC; a brother, Tim Winkler, of Greenville; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; her in-laws, James and Dorothy Horne of Pelzer, SC. Funeral service will be at 12 noon, Monday, May 12, 2008, at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel, with burial in Graceland West Cemetery. Visitation will be 7-8:30 pm, Sunday, May 11, 2008 at the funeral home. The family will be at the residence.
