Shelia Renee Rawls

Shelia Renee Rawls, born January 10, 1957, a cherished daughter and sister, departed this world on February 27, 2024, at the age of 67.

Born in Springfield, Tennessee, she brought joy and warmth to all who knew her. Shelia’s love for game shows and her playful spirit filled countless hours of entertainment for herself and those around her. She found solace in singing and listening to gospel music and cherished her travels to churches with her parents. Shelia’s early dedication to the March of Dimes, where she served as a poster child for two years, showcased her compassionate nature. She leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness.

Shelia is survived by her mother, Nora P. Rawls; her sister, Deana Lynne Whittemore and husband Devon; her brother, Michael Shane Rawls and wife Lee, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father, Willis Richard Rawls, and brother Mark Aaron Rawls.

Shelia will be deeply missed but forever remembered for her vibrant spirit and unwavering love.

Visitation will be held Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Downtown followed by a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. A private burial will be held in Graceland East Memorial Park.
