Shirley Jean Peterson Harrison "Mama T", 60, of 532 Indian Trail, wife of Christopher "Mike" Harrison, died Monday, September 8, 2008 at Greenville Memorial Medical Center. Born in Griffin, GA, she was a daughter of the late H.E. and Sara Francis Cothran Peterson. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Joe Giacometti of Greenville; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jody and Sara Traylor of Greer, Steven Traylor of Taylors; a granddaughter, Payton Ashley Traylor of Greer; a sister and brother-in-law, Susan and Murrell Galloway of Piedmont; and a niece, Angela Thompson of Piedmont. Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605. A memorial service will be held Friday, September 12, 2008 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The family will be at the home of Jody and Sara Traylor, 1002 Taylor Road, Greer.
