Stephen Henry Hester

Stephen Henry Hester, 61, of Easley, died Friday, August 22, 2008.
Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Roy Henry and Ruby Yvonne Hughey Hester.
Mr. Hester served in the Army, Company C 15th Combat Engineers during the Vietnam War and was owner of Al's TV Sales and Service. He was a member of Reedy River Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife of 42 years, Elizabeth "Libba" Boone Belcher Hester; a son, Stephen Mark Hester, Tampa, FL; a nephew, Barry Hester, Travelers Rest; two nieces, Tonya Stroud and Bridgot King.
He was predeceased by a brother, Donald Roy Hester.
Visitation will be Monday, August 25, 2008 from 6:30 -8:00 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.
The funeral service will be Tuesday, August 26, 2008 at 10:30 am at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Reedy River Baptist Church Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Reedy River Baptist Church, 871 US Highway 25 North, Greenville, SC 29617, or St. Francis Hospice, 414 Pettigru Street, Greenville, SC 29601.
The family will be at the residence.
