Sue Lindler Grant

Sue Lindler Grant, 86, wife of the late Bobby Grant, passed away Friday, July 8, 2022.

Born in Newberry County, she was a daughter of the late John Lomas Lindler, Sr. and Lila Mae Stoudemire Lindler.

Sue was of the Methodist faith and was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Some of Sue’s favorites pastimes were crocheting, ceramics, all kinds of crafts, watching old game shows, and working on cross word puzzles.

Sue is survived by two daughters, Sheryl Weston and husband Stephen A. Weston, Sr., and Marsha Calvert; adopted daughter, Whitney Powell, grandchildren, Christopher Pulley, Jennifer R. Ward, Stephen Weston, Alisha Shambra, Andrew Pulley, Melissa Hugo, and Haleigh Calvert; great grandchildren, Evelyn, Angel, Jade, Abby, Hannah, Grant, Michael, James, Caleb, Lucy, and Joey; sister, Martha L Mahaffey; and brother William L. Lindler.

In addition to her parents and husband, Sue was preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret Wharton, Mabel Cain, and Annie Laura Graham; brothers, John L. Lindler, Jr., Phillip B. Lindler, George Robert Lindler, and C. Mack Lindler.

A graveside service will be held at Greenville Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at 11:00 a.m.
