Susanne "Susie" Wise Andrews, 83, passed away at home on Tuesday, March 2, 2021.
She was born in Greenville, SC to the late Carlton "C.T." and Miriam Sturkey Wise on November 14, 1937.
She was married to the love of her life, Edward G. "Eddie" Andrews, for almost 64 years. Susie was a graduate of Greenville High School class of 1955 and a graduate of Columbia College class of 1957. She was formerly employed by The Principal Financial Group and retired from Richtex Brick.
Susie was a faithful member of Earle Street Baptist Church and was a longtime former member of First Presbyterian Church of Greenville and the Agape Sunday School class. Susie proudly told everyone that she was born a Methodist, spent most of her married life as a Presbyterian and after joining Earle Street, she realized that she had been a life-long Baptist-at-heart.
Susie enjoyed spending time at their beach house at Surfside Beach for the past 40 years. She also loved spending time with her dogs, Rosie and Tilly.
In addition to her husband, Susie is survived by two daughters, Amy Andrews of Greenville, and Jill Andrews Phillips (Brian) of Birmingham, AL; grandchildren, Mary Parker Phillips, and Carlton Phillips (Julia Travagline) also of Birmingham; and her sister and brother-in-law, Sally Wise (Michael Watts) and sister-in-law, Donna Wise.
