Sybil Zupan Freeman

Sybil Zupan Freeman, 86, died Thursday, October 9, 2008. Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Alma Henson Zupan. Mrs. Freeman was a retired bookkeeper for G. M. Cox and Co. and a member of Welcome Baptist Church. Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie and J. Michael Taylor of Greenville; a son, Phil and Wendy Freeman of Washburn, WI; three grandchildren, Adrian and Whitney Taylor and Matthew Freeman. She was preceded in death by a brother, James F. Zupan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southern Care Hospice, 6000 Pelham Rd., Ste B, Greenville, SC 29615 or Meals on Wheels, 15 Oregon Street, Greenville, SC 29605. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 12, 2008 from 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. in the Downtown Chapel. Burial will follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens.
