Reverend Terrance Terry Dale Chapman, 52, of Loris, SC preached his way to glory on Thursday, November 10, 2005 at Baptist Hospital of Memphis. Born July 11, 1953 in Waco, TX, he was the husband of Belvia Lynn Sewell Chapman and a son of the Reverend Dale Sterling and Virginia Ann Warner Chapman. Pastor Terry was an ordained minister in the Assemblies of God. He was presently the Pastor of First Assembly of God, Loris, SC and the District Presbyter for the Myrtle Beach-Georgetown Assemblies of God Churches. During his 33 years of ministry, Pastor Terry and his wife served as Youth, Music and Associate Pastors at Victory Temple A/G, Biloxi, MS; Southside A/G, Greenville, SC; Frayser A/G, Memphis, Tenn.; Brownsville A/G, Pensacola, Fla.; Calvary Temple A/G, Anniston, Ala.; and First A/G, Tifton, GA. He was a dynamic preacher, musician, and worshiper and was loved by his family and the family of God and was known as a friend of God. Surviving in addition to his wife of thirty-three years, is a daughter, Andrea Watson, and her husband, Jimmy of Camden, TN; a son, Christopher Dale Chapman, of Loris, SC; a sister, Sherry Chapman Hoover, of Millington, TN; a brother, Timothy Alan Chapman, of Conway, SC; three grandchildren, Jalyn Paige Watson, Jamie-Lyn Watson and James Austin Watson; numerous nieces, grand-nieces, nephews, and grand-nephews; and his many ?church families?. He was predeceased by his mother and father-in-laws, Joe and Annell Sewell. Visitation will be held Monday, November 14 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home Downtown from 6:30-8 pm. Services will be held Tuesday at CrossPoint Assembly of God Southside at 1:30pm. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the First Assembly of God, Building Fund, PO Box 488, Loris, SC 29569. The family is at the home of Reverend and Mrs. Randall Atkins, 117 Country Lane, Easley, SC.
