Terry Leal Crowe, 62, husband of Sharon Crowe, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 25, 2021.

Born in Greenville, SC, he was a son of the late O.O. and Peggy Harris Crowe.

Terry was an active member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church, where he helped cook and serve turkeys at Thanksgiving for the homeless, supported mission projects with his Sunday School Class, and would witness and pray for everyone he met. He was a man of God and truly believed and lived knowing the Lord was the truth, the way and the life.

Terry loved to fish; catching bass and trout in the local lakes, the Chattooga River, he even caught his own son one time! He loved spending time with his family. Always going to visit and take the most amazing pictures of lighthouses all over the Southeast. He truly enjoyed collecting lighthouse figurines from each visit along with his photos.

Terry worked for Furman University for 27 years as a custodial supervisor. He most recently worked for ABM Services at Clemson ICAR where he supervised his devoted daughter, Cassie and other employees. He loved his career very much. He is in Heaven sweeping the streets of gold and has his golden plunger.

In addition to his mom, Peggy, Terry’s legacy will continue on in the hearts of his loving wife, Sharon Crowe; his two wonderful children, Jeremy Crowe and fiance, Sommer Pruitt, and Cassie Crowe; his devoted brother, Randy Crowe. beloved pup Miley Crowe.

He was preceded in death by his father, O.O. Crowe, and his best friend and partner in crime, his pup, Miley.

A memorial service will be held Friday, October 1, at 4:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Downtown followed by visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Downtown Chapel.

As I was searching obituaries for my dear friend, “Terry Crowe,” your sweet Terry L. Crowe was pulled up! I was so touched by your tribute video, I sent it to the family. And I told her I suspect both Terry Crowe’s will be meeting & sharing beloved stories soon… about family, fishing & Faith! Have you read Revealing Heaven, An Eye Witness Account, by Kat Kerr, (books 1 & 2)? They will bless you! After reading about the mansions, you might be able to imagine what YOUR Terry’s mansion is like and some of the AMAZING things he is doing now!! My friend said, we’re all here but Terry’s missing…. I said, Terry is at home with the LORD, we’re the ones missing! And there’s great hope of seeing one another again, in much better circumstances…. So very sorry for your loss. Terry was wonderful person. I worked with him at Walmart. He was always so kind. He will be missed, and heaven has gained a true angel. May the peace, and comfort that comes only from our savior surround each one of you! You are in my prayers.

We were so fortunate to have Terry's support here at ICAR. He was a great guy, had a heart of gold and loved his family. He will be sorely missed by all of us.
