Terry Leal Crowe, 62, husband of Sharon Crowe, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, September 25, 2021.
Born in Greenville, SC, he was a son of the late O.O. and Peggy Harris Crowe.
Terry was an active member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church, where he helped cook and serve turkeys at Thanksgiving for the homeless, supported mission projects with his Sunday School Class, and would witness and pray for everyone he met. He was a man of God and truly believed and lived knowing the Lord was the truth, the way and the life.
Terry loved to fish; catching bass and trout in the local lakes, the Chattooga River, he even caught his own son one time! He loved spending time with his family. Always going to visit and take the most amazing pictures of lighthouses all over the Southeast. He truly enjoyed collecting lighthouse figurines from each visit along with his photos.
Terry worked for Furman University for 27 years as a custodial supervisor. He most recently worked for ABM Services at Clemson ICAR where he supervised his devoted daughter, Cassie and other employees. He loved his career very much. He is in Heaven sweeping the streets of gold and has his golden plunger.
In addition to his mom, Peggy, Terry’s legacy will continue on in the hearts of his loving wife, Sharon Crowe; his two wonderful children, Jeremy Crowe and fiance, Sommer Pruitt, and Cassie Crowe; his devoted brother, Randy Crowe. beloved pup Miley Crowe.
He was preceded in death by his father, O.O. Crowe, and his best friend and partner in crime, his pup, Miley.
A memorial service will be held Friday, October 1, at 4:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Downtown followed by visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the Downtown Chapel.
