Terry Eugene Rosamond, 68, husband of Deborah Rosamond, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024. In addition to his loving wife of forty-six years, he is survived by two children, Darby Grande (Jeffery) and Trent Rosamond (Chelsea), and four grandchildren, Paige Grande, Aubrey Grande, Mack Grande, and Charlotte Rosamond. Preceding him in death were his loving parents, Alvin and Ruby Maxwell Rosamond, along with his brothers, Alvin Rosamond and Tony Rosamond, and his sister, Patricia Rosamond.
Terry’s life was a testament to the joys of outdoor adventures. An avid outdoorsman, he found solace and delight in fishing, hunting, and golfing. Terry was a member of Holly Tree Country Club, where he spent many hours golfing with friends. When he wasn’t on the golf course, Terry enjoyed time spent at the lake and cheering on his grandchildren at various school and athletic events.
Terry enjoyed a lifelong career in the construction industry, beginning as a teenager helping his father with residential construction and culminating in his retirement as the Vice President of Installed Sales for Builders First Source.
Beyond his achievements, Terry will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to his Christian faith, his strong work ethic, and his exemplary moral compass. His infectious laughter and zest for life earned him the endearing nickname “Good Time Terry.”
As we bid farewell to Terry in this life, we find solace in the belief that he now rests in eternal peace, reunited with loved ones who have gone before him. And while our hearts ache with his absence, we take comfort in the thought of a grand reunion where Terry will be waiting with open arms, ready to welcome us all to the ultimate party. Rest well, Good Time Terry. Your legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know you.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Holly Tree Country Club from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The family has chosen to have a private burial.
