Terry Eugene Rosamond, 68, husband of Deborah Rosamond, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024. In addition to his loving wife of forty-six years, he is survived by two children, Darby Grande (Jeffery) and Trent Rosamond (Chelsea), and four grandchildren, Paige Grande, Aubrey Grande, Mack Grande, and Charlotte Rosamond. Preceding him in death were his loving parents, Alvin and Ruby Maxwell Rosamond, along with his brothers, Alvin Rosamond and Tony Rosamond, and his sister, Patricia Rosamond.

Terry’s life was a testament to the joys of outdoor adventures. An avid outdoorsman, he found solace and delight in fishing, hunting, and golfing. Terry was a member of Holly Tree Country Club, where he spent many hours golfing with friends. When he wasn’t on the golf course, Terry enjoyed time spent at the lake and cheering on his grandchildren at various school and athletic events.

Terry enjoyed a lifelong career in the construction industry, beginning as a teenager helping his father with residential construction and culminating in his retirement as the Vice President of Installed Sales for Builders First Source.

Beyond his achievements, Terry will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to his Christian faith, his strong work ethic, and his exemplary moral compass. His infectious laughter and zest for life earned him the endearing nickname “Good Time Terry.”

As we bid farewell to Terry in this life, we find solace in the belief that he now rests in eternal peace, reunited with loved ones who have gone before him. And while our hearts ache with his absence, we take comfort in the thought of a grand reunion where Terry will be waiting with open arms, ready to welcome us all to the ultimate party. Rest well, Good Time Terry. Your legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know you.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, at Holly Tree Country Club from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The family has chosen to have a private burial.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prisma Health Hospice of the Upstate by mailing to 390 Keowee School Road, Seneca, SC 29672.

I offer my heartfelt condolences for your loss. Terry was not just a mentor of mine, he was a genuinely fantastic person to be around. His wisdom, guidance and friendship will be greatly missed. Please know that my thoughts are with you and your family during this difficult time.

Great obituary for Terry! I wish I could have known him longer, he was a great guy. Going to miss him playing golf at HT and hanging out. Unfortunately Vickie and I are going to miss his Celebration of Life, but we will make sure and toast him .

Prayers for the family during this difficult time. We had so many fun family times together - weekend (and weekday) parties @ the Lewis Palace on Yorkshire, Christmas parties, etc I'm sure he and daddy will have a chuckle and round of golf in heaven. Terry will be greatly missed but forever remembered in our hearts. God Bless!

We did not spend alot of time together, but the short time we did, he made a great impact. You both show all of us what a marriage should be like and what its like to find the happy in every situation. I cannot be there to share a hug or a diet tonic spirit, but please know your hurt us felt and God has big plans for your path. .

Feeling sad but my memories bring many smiles to my face - long hours planting gardens, tearing down an old house, building 2 decks, trips to Charleston, Isle of Palms, Tybee, Atlanta to watch the Braves, Fishing in the Florida Keys, Venice La., Mosquito Lagoon, Anniversary dinners, children’s marriages - so many good times. I miss you my friend - may you RIP Terry Rosamond.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time. This is a hard time of year to hear of Terry leaving us, I would have liked to have visited with him before he left. I sure did enjoy the times we were able to spend together. He now has the best seat in the house to watch the Masters, enjoy the view my friend see you later. Love To All, Mike Parham

I will forever remember all the fishing and lake time in the years just after high school, going to bowl games, hanging at your apartment on Pelham Road etc. Terry was so much fun and you were the happiest I ever saw you Deborah when he came into your life. I still remember standing beside you two when you started your life together in your mom's back yard. Lol I remember you going to Myrtle Beach for your honeymoon and Jerry and I stopped in at your hotel to see you. Life seemed to get in the way as we got older but running into the two of you at times over the years was very special for me. Your marriage and love for each other was so inspiring and I know Terry will be watching over you from Heaven until you are together again!! Love. Debbie

Perhaps, one of the bravest kayakers I’ve ever had the pleasure of doing a float with. Of course he and Deb sunk their boat as soon as they hit the water, but they sure looked good. One of many fun times. What happened at the farm…..stays in my heart.

Awesome tribute! Great guy who made a difference in life ……. This world needs more Terry Rosamonds. Thankful to have had some good times with Terry. Will continue to pray for Deborah and family. Love yall! Mitch

Deborah, Trent and Darby- I am still in disbelief that this has happened. I always enjoyed running into you - always together and happy! We will be out of town and unable to come to honor Terry Friday which makes me so sad. I want to wrap my arms around you. Know that you all are in my heart and Kevin’s!!

When we first joined Holly Tree Terry made a point to welcome us. He golfed with me and introduced us to others. He was the very epitome of a Southern Gentleman. I know God is proud of Terry.

Rest In Peace my. I love all the beautiful times, wonderful memories of Deb, Vickie, and myself taking you boys camping at white water falls. Loved you like a big brother. We will meet again. I will miss you everyday 🙏🙏. You are at peace.
