Thelma Evelyn Smith, 76, of 208 Tubbs Mountain Road Ext. Lot 14, died Saturday, March 24, 2007 at North Greenville Hospital. Born in Cherokee, SC, she was a daughter of the late James Talmadge Barbrey and Mary Belle Jones Barbrey and wife of the late Troy Haskell Smith. She is survived by two daughters, Mary Shrader of Greenville, and Jayne Crumb of Pickens; three sons, Wayne Freeman of Greenville, Dale Freeman of Virginia, and Dennis Freeman of Travelers Rest; one sister; one brother; fifteen grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 ? 8:30 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Services will be Wednesday at 12 Noon at the funeral home. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, West. The family is at the residence.
