Thomas W. "Tommy" Allen, 60, died Tuesday, March 25, 2008. Born in Greenville, he was the son of the late Mary Sprouse and Freeman Y. Allen. Surviving are a sister, Kathy Goodwin and husband Tony; two nieces, Jennifer Bennett and Kimberly Kahler; four great nieces; and three great nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Allen; a nephew, Christopher Garland; and grandparents, Yancey and Idell Vickery Allen and Thomas and Lula Mae Bell Sprouse. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 26, 2008 from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will be held in the Downtown Chapel Thursday, March 27, 2008 at noon. Burial will follow at Woodlawn memorial Park.
