In lieu of donations, Tim requested the pleasure of your company at a gathering on Saturday April 9, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at The Town of Crawford Senior and Community Center, 115 NY-302, Pine Bush, New York 12566 to share a drink and celebrate his life.

Dr. Timothy Edward Hale, 61, husband of Jane Hale of Montgomery, New York, died Tuesday, January 18, 2022, surrounded by his family.

Born in Batavia, New York, he was the son of Roger Hale of Naples, FL and the late Patricia Horgan Hale.

Dr. Hale was a graduate of Hamilton College, where he played basketball, and Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He and his partner, Dr. Peter Masci have practiced dentistry in the Hudson Valley for over 34 years and have since expanded their practice to include an incredibly talented team of providers. He also shared his knowledge, experience, and passion for dentistry by lecturing internationally and as a co-founder to organizations providing continued education to the next generation of dentists.

Doc, as he was known by many, was proud to call his patients family, and was steadfast in maintaining a positive outlook on life. He was always looking for “A Reason to Smile” daily, and following his mantra “work hard, play hard”.

Tim was an avid sports addict, coaching his kids’ basketball teams, attending their football and lacrosse games, and cheering on the Buffalo Bills. Many will attest that Tim was always the life of the party. He was never afraid to share his contagious laughter and infectious spirit. Recently, Tim and Jane have enjoyed retirement on Lake Keowee in Seneca, SC after moving to be closer to their sons and to spoil their two new granddaughters.

In addition to his wife and father, Tim is survived by three sons, Andrew Edward Hale (Jillian), Daniel Joseph Hale (Dana), and Nicholas Roger Hale (Katelyn); two granddaughters, Ella Hale and Vivianne Hale; and three brothers, Mike Hale, Jeff Hale, and Tom Hale.

Thank you to Jane and all the Hale Family and Friends for a wonderful tribute to Tim last week. Although very emotional, it was uplifting to be with so many people grateful to have shared time and life with Tim. He is missed!!!

Our sincere condolences to the Hale family. We were fortunate enough to be referred to Dr. Hale back in the ‘80’s and never had another dentist. He was such a proficient and gentle dentist snd had such a wonderful sense of humor. We will always miss him, and remember him.

Tim was one of my mentors early on in my career. Always brought incredible energy to anything he was doing - teaching dentistry or just hanging out. Tim will be dearly missed

Jane and family, we were just informed of your great loss of Husband and Father. We moved to Verona Walk in September 2020 and met the two of you shortly after. We were happy to meet our new neighbors and always worried about “Doc” Tim and always checked to see if you had arrived. My husband and I are so very sorry to just now hear the horrible news. Whenever I think of Tim, I think of his happy, giggling laughter and smile. What a wonderful way to remember someone who was such a great person. Our condolences are with Jane and their family, as well as with Roger, Mike, Jeff and Tommy.

My deepest condolences to the family and his closest friends. Tim and his family grew up in my neighborhood and we went to school in Brockport. Tim always had a smile on his face, a great jokester, and all around nice guy. One thing that helps me out when something like this happens, is the comforting words at 2 Corinthians 1: 3, 4, which reads: "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God." Knowing this has helped me when things are almost impossible to bear, and keeping focused on a promise of not having to suffer any pain, sorry, or death. Rev 21: 3,4. Tim will surely be missed. My heart goes out to Jane and the family. Always good times with Tim. We got to go a couple of times to Universal Studios with a group Tim was part of. Just a blast.
