Tommy Oyer Johnson

Tommy Oyer Johnson, 72, of 100 Twinleaf Way, died Tuesday, January 29, 2008 at his residence, Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late Lem Albert and Pauline Southerland Johnson. Mr. Johnson was retired from American Monorail and was of the Baptist faith. He was a United States Army veteran. Surviving are two daughters, Teresa Dillard of Jacksonville, FL, Cindy Briggs of Greenville; two sons, Roger Johnson of Greenville, Michael Johnson of Simpsonville; a sister, Mildred Hicks of North Carolina; a brother, Robert Johnson of Kings Mountain, NC; ten grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, William Johnson. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 31, 2008 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will be held Friday, February 1, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. in the downtown chapel. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery, West. The family will be at the residence.
