Travis Alan Haynie, 15, of 199 Old Farrs Bridge Road, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, February 24, 2008. Born in Greenville, he was a son of Dr. Katherine Miller Haynie of Greenville and Richard Alan Haynie and stepmother Eva M. Haynie of Easley. Travis was an honor student at Berea High School and a member of the Renaissance Club. He attended Marathon Community Church. Surviving in addition to his parents are a brother, Jared Kyle Haynie; two stepsisters, Amber and Kathleen Grayson; two stepbrothers, Erik and James Grayson; and grandparents, Kenneth K. and Frances K. Miller and Rev. Jim and Marilyn Burnham. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 28, 2008 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service will be held at 6:30 pm following the visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cancer Society of Greenville County, 113 Mills Avenue, Greenville, SC 29605. The family is at their respective homes.
