Vencie Bishop Stover

Vencie Bishop Stover, 85, of 134 Lagrand Blvd., died Sunday, April 08, 2007. A Greenville native, Mrs. Stover was the widow of William ?Bill? Stover, Sr., and the daughter of the late Jessie Benjaman and Parrott Keller Bishop. She was a retired seamstress with Pinehurst Manufacturing and a member of Eastlan Baptist Church. She enjoyed cross-stitching. Mrs. Stover is survived by two sons, W.B. ?Buddy? Stover, Jr., and his wife, Betty, and Thomas R. ?Randy? Stover; three grandchildren, Chris and his wife, Keri Stover, Jeff Stover, and Kevin Stover; two great-granchildren, Caroline and Madison Stover, all of Greenville; one special niece and her husband, Barbara and Larry Ellenburg of Statesville, NC; and one special nephew, John A. Bishop and his wife, Dot of Greenville. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The family will be at the residence. Memorials may be made to Eastlan Baptist Church Building Fund, 625 S. Pleasantburg Drive, Greenville, SC 29607.
