Vera Mae Chapman Reid, 81, died October 15, 2006. Born in Raban Gap, GA., she was a daughter of the late John Frederick and Lelia Kathleen Jones Chapman. Surviving are a daughter, Lynn Mejia; a son, Jimmy Lea both of Greenville; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown.
