Virginia "Ginny" Darling, 89, of Greenville, wife of Ernest E. Darling, died Friday, January 25, 2013, at Oakmont West Nursing Center. Born in Greenville, she was the daughter of the late Toy Sizemore, Sr. and Burnella Armstead Sizemore. Mrs. Darling was an avid bowler who liked to travel. She was a member of Tanglewood Baptist Church. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Lynell Sumner Evelyn, of Greenville, Steve Sumner Beth, of Las Cruces, NM, and Barry Sumner, of Lexington, SC; step-sons, Mark Darling, of MI, and Matthew Darling Tammy, of Greer; step-daughters, Marcia Swarthout Jay, of MI, and Maxine Moyer Ed, of MI; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; three sisters, Ruby Justice, of Easley, Audrey Ferguson, of Gray Court, Shirley Stegall, of Easley; and brother, Bill Sizemore, of Reno, NV. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Jefferson Sumner; second husband, Jack Henderson; two sisters; and a brother. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2013, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Tanglewood Baptist Church, with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 p.m. Burial will be at Graceland West Cemetery.
