W. Jewel Geraghty

W. Jewel Geraghty, 61, of 115 East Hypericum Lane, wife of Joseph Geraghty, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, September 21, 2006 at her residence. Born in Asheville, N.C., she was a daughter of the late Willard and Ruby Briggs Sullivan. Mrs. Geraghty was a homemaker. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter and son-in-law, Sherrie and Jimmy Hardin of Campobello; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Norma Christine and Michael Eichelberger of Laurens, Melba Terry of Simpsonville; a brother and sister-in-law, Jack and June Sullivan of Raleigh, N.C.; and a grandson, Alex Hardin of Campobello. She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Sullivan. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615 or Interim Hospice, 775 Spartanburg Blvd., Suite 101, Spartanburg, SC 29301. The family will receive friends on Sunday September 24, 2006 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Graveside services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Graceland East Memorial Park. The family will be at the residence.
