Walter E Nicholson

Walter E. Nicholson, 87, died Friday, November 30, 2007. Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late Louie Conway and Rose Ella Hunnicutt Nicholson. Mr. Nicholson was a retired employee of Brandon Mill and was a member of Unity Baptist Church. The family would like to thank the staff of Laurel Baye and Southern Care Hospice and his many friends for the love and care they gave to Walter. Surviving are a nephew, Lee Nicholson and his wife, Frances of Harbor Island, and a niece Norma Bellflower and her husband J.C. of Greenville. Memorials may be made in memory of Walter Nicholson to the Laurel Baye Healthcare Activities Fund, 661 Rutherford Rd., Greenville, SC 29609 or Southern Care Hospice, 6000 Pelham Rd., Ste B, Greer, SC 29651. A graveside service will be held Sunday, December 2, 2007 at 2 p.m. at Graceland West Cemetery. Visitation will follow the service at the cemetery. The family will be at the home of Lee Nicholson, 50 North Harbor Dr., Harbor Island, SC 29920.
