Warren Verner Earl Rivers

Warren Verner Earl ?Butch? Rivers, 60, of 14 Strawberry Drive, died Friday, September 28, 2007. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Asa Earl Rivers, Jr. and Nellie Ruth Waldrop Rivers and husband of the late Mary Louise Rivers. Mr. Rivers retired from John D. Hollingsworth Company after thirty-two years of service. He was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are a son, Christopher Warren Rivers, of Easley; a granddaughter, Cassie Jade Rivers, of Easley; a sister, Sonja Rivers Davis, of Greenville; and a brother, Mendel Ray Rivers, of Greenville. Services will be held Sunday at 2:00 pm at Greenville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. The family is at 701 Watkins Road. Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.
