Waymon B. Nelson

Waymon B. Nelson, 77, of 256 Oak Vale Drive, died Monday, October 17, 2005. Born in Fountain Inn he was a son of the late Claude Pierce and Annie Lou Chandler Nelson. Mr. Nelson retired from Dow Brand and was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Nelson, of the home; two daughters, Jenny Bagwell and Mary F. Horger; a son, Steve Nelson; a stepdaughter, Shirley Kelley; a stepson, Anthony Banks; two sisters, Nettie Mae King and Frances Weese; a brother, Charles Nelson; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He is predeceased by three sisters, Bertha and Myrtle Nelson and Lois N. Soper; and three brothers, Carl, James Albert and Leon Nelson. Services will be held on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest with visitation from 6:00 ? 6:45 p.m. prior to the service at 7:00 p.m. Burial will be on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
