Waymon Robert Evette

Waymon Robert "Bob" Evette, 67, of Palm Coast, FL, husband of Lynne Gray Evette, died Thursday, August 28, 2008. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Lee Lake and Lois Cassell Evette. Mr. Evette was formerly in automotive sales, an auctioneer and was most recently a real estate agent. He was a member of the HEJAZ Temple of the Shrine and was an avid NASCAR fan. He was also a veteran of the United Sates Marines. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son, David A. Evette and his wife, Pamela, of Travelers Rest; a brother, Lee Lake Evette, Jr. and his wife, Louise, of Greenville; and three grandchildren, Amanda, Joseph and Jackson Evette. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, PO Box 335, Bunnell, FL 32110 or to the charity of one's choice. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 6, 2008 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. A memorial service will follow at Noon in the chapel. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will be at the home of his son, 302 Hindman Road, Travelers Rest.
