Wayne Dobson Buffalo III

Wayne Dobson Buffalo, III, 55, of Gastonia, N.C., passed away September 11, 2007 at his home. He was the son of the late Wayne Dobson Buffalo, Jr. and Frances Bowie Buffalo of Greenville, SC. Mr. Buffalo was a graduate of Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Psychology. He worked in the mortgage industry and moved into the filter manufacturing business where he worked for over a quarter century. He was a witty and serious intellect, caring and loyal friend, a diligent worker and a dyed in orange Clemson University football fan. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He is survived by a brother, David Barrett Buffalo of Simpsonville and several cousins on the Bowie and Buffalo sides. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 3535 Pelham Road, Suite 101, Greenville, SC 29615. Graveside services will be held Sunday, September 16, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. at Woodlawn Memorial Park. A memorial service will be announced at a future date for family and friends.
