Wendy Sue Cutting, 52, of Spartanburg, wife of Scott R. Cutting, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2021.
She was born on June 10, 1968 in Norristown, PA to the late Claude Clevinger.
Wendy was a down to earth, uncomplicated woman who loved life and enjoyed sharing special moments with her family. She was a devoted wife and best friend to Scott, and an adoring and supportive mother to Sammy and Kristi Hale of Simpsonville, Scott and Hannah Cutting of Greer, and Konner Cutting of Spartanburg as well as a beloved sister to Gail Nord (Jerry Nord) of Vero Beach, Florida, and Claude Clevinger (Estela Clevinger) of Port St Lucie, Florida. Wendy was a devoted Nana to her grandchildren and enjoyed babysitting every chance she got.
Wendy was an excellent hostess and always made guests feel welcomed. She loved to decorate her home for the holidays and became quite a crafter in recent years. She loved camping, hiking, fishing and just being out in nature. Wendy was such a memorable woman that greeted everyone with a smile. She had the kindest eyes and a smile that warmed you from within. Keeping it simple and fun was her life mantra. She was happiest in shorts and a t-shirt with her hair pulled back in a pony tail. Wendy made the most of what she had and was thankful for her many blessings. She loved her family and friends fiercely. Her home was always welcoming, and she was willing to share anything she had. She was the favorite Aunt to all her nieces and nephews. She was known for blasting music in the car and always willing to listen and give advice when needed. She was loved by all who knew her and will forever live on in our hearts.
