William Dewitt Jolley

William Dewitt Jolley, 91, of Greenville, died Friday, September 14, 2007, at Blue Ridge Living Center, Easley. Born in Chesnee, SC, he was a son of the late William Theodore and Clarinda Adams Jolley. He, and his wife, Jessie Lee Abernathy Jolley, were married for 71 years. Mr. Jolley was a retired truck driver. He was a member of Leawood Baptist Church. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are four daughters, Melba Garrison and husband Norman, Brenda Miller and husband Danny, Sandra Clary and husband Ray, and Pam Taylor and husband Wayne, all of Powdersville; a son, Gerald Jolley and wife Phyllis, of Orangeburg; a brother, Donald Jolley, of Inman; 16 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Dexter Jolley. Services will be held at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home Northwest today at 1:30 p.m. with visitation from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at Robinson Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. The family is at the home of daughter, Melba Garrison, 1010 Cely Road, Easley.
