William Earl Sherman

William ?Bill? Earl Sherman, Sr., 64, of 112 French Woods Rd., died Wednesday, October 11, 2006. Born in Piedmont, he was the son of the late Bucy Simmons Sherman and Catherine Stegall Sherman. Mr. Sherman was a veteran of the US Marines and was a retired electrician he was of the baptist faith. Surviving are two daughters, Kimberly Sherman and Jennifer Ellen Kimbrell both of Greenville; one son, William ?Chip? Sherman of Greenville; one sister, Faye Merritt of Piedmont; and three grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home Northwest, Saturday, from 7:00-8:30 pm. A graveside service will be held a Greenville Memorial Gardens Sunday, at 3:00 pm. The family will be at their respective home.
