William John Thomas Sheppard

William John Thomas Tom Sheppard, 71, formerly of 215 Delray Circle, died Saturday, December 29, 2007, at Oakmont East Nursing Center . Born in Oconee County, he was a son of the late Walter and Cleona Bryson Sheppard. Mr. Sheppard served in the United States Army and was a member of City View First Baptist Church. Surviving is his wife of 50 years, Dalice Meece Sheppard; two daughters, Regina L. Dunn and husband, Jeffrey of Marietta and Janet A. DePhillips and husband, Joey of Greer; and two granddaughters, Brittany Dunn and Brianna Dunn. Mr. Sheppard was predeceased by two sisters, Dorothy Summey and Carol Ann Sweet and two brothers, Hayne C. Sheppard and Walter Junior Sheppard. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2008 at 12:00 noon at the Chapel of Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Visitation will be from 10:45 ? 11:45 a.m. prior to the funeral service. Burial will follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to City View First Baptist Church, 2300 Blue Ridge Dr., Greenville, SC 29611. The family is at the residence.
