William Joseph Regan, Jr., 67, of 202 Needles Drive, husband of Carolyn Gallier Regan, died Monday, June 19, 2006 at St. Francis Hospital, Downtown. Born in Wayne County, MI., he was a son of the late William Joseph Regan, Sr. and Otillia Latcha Regan. Mr. Regan was employed as a Simpsonville Municipal Judge and was a member of the National Judges Association. He was a member of the F.O.P., Knights of Columbus, Simpsonville Rotary, Hejaz Shrine, and was former owner of Bill Regan Auto Sales for 20 years. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and was a United States Navy Veteran having served during the Vietnam War. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are three daughters, Teri Korthauer of San Angelo, TX., Debra Zick of Greenville, Shannon Batson of Spartanburg; two sons, Donald Regan and Billy Regan both of Simpsonville; two sisters, Charlene George of Seminole, FL., Marion Dean of Sterling Heights, MI.; eighteen grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert Regan. Memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 500 Taylor Street, Suite 101, Columbia, SC 29201 or to the charity of one?s choice. Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 21, 2006 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, June 22, 2006 at 12:10 pm at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Burial will follow in Cannon Memorial Park. The family will be at the residence.
