Mr. Kay had an impressionable impact on me at a very early age. He lead me and my childhood friends in Sunday school, fed us and prayed with us at his restaurant, came to our games and did this with an unconditional love that left a lifelong lasting memory of what a godly man represents. His daily never met a stranger Christlike personality will certainly be remembered.

My deepest sympathy to Ann, Alan and Marsha and extended family in the loss of one so dear to my heart, next door neighbors and friends for 65 years. Sadness fills my heart knowing I will not physically see Junior sitting in his rocker in the glassed in sunroom. But knowing he has taken his first step through the Heavenly Gates leaves a smile on my face and to know there are no tears in heaven, no more aches and pains. The Kay Family is special, so loved by all. Praying for your loss, Betty Owens

Mr. Kay was a kind person... My sincere condolences to Ms Ann - a precious lady - and to Alan and Marsha... It's difficult to lose a loved one, but may you all be comforted in the knowledge that he is sitting at the feet of Jesus, praising his Saviour. Psalm 116:15 "Precious in the eyes of the Lord is the death of his saints. "

My daddy, Coy F. Garrett, and Mr. Kay were good friends for years. Our grocery store was in the same block of buildings as the restaurant. When I worked for Daddy on Saturdays and in the summer, we always ate breakfast at Kay's. Mr. Kay was always so kind to me. I am sorry for your loss but pleased to know I'll see him again. God bless your family. Hope G. Lavender, Maine
