William Thomas Hall

William Thomas ?Tom? Hall, 75, of 125 Sentinel Court, husband of Panello Rouse Hall, died Saturday, February 10, 2007. Born in Gaffney, he was the son of the late James C. Hall, M.D. and Sadie Jeter Hall. He attended Virginia Commonwealth University and served in the US Air Force in Reconnaissance Photography during the Korean War. Tom worked as a graphic artist in advertising. He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He enjoyed playing golf, nature photography as a hobby, was a member of En Plein Air Painter?s Society and also served as a volunteer at Carl Sandburg National Monument. Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Panello Anne Hall Reece and husband, Gary, of Simpsonville; a son, Michael W. Hall, of Easley; a sister, Sadie J. Hall, of Gaffney; a brother, James C. Hall, Jr., of Blacksburg; and four grandchildren, Whitney A. Reece, Thomas E. Reece, Hannah M. Hall, and Mark Z. Hall. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at Remembrance Chapel of Woodlawn Memorial Park at 1:30 pm, with visitation prior to the service from 12:30 until 1:30 pm in Remembrance Chapel. Memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church, 2703 Augusta Street, Greenville, SC 29605, or Heartland Hospice Services, 421 SE Main Street, Simpsonville, SC 29681. The family will be at the residence.
