Willie Clara Eskew Evans

Willie Clara Eskew Evans, 81, of Dacusville, died February 1, 2006 at Palmetto Baptist Hospital with loved ones present. She was born on February 11, 1924 in Anderson, South Carolina. She is survived by one sister, Inez Galloway; and a special niece, Debbie Thomas. Three children, Danny Wayne Evans and his wife Reba of Anderson, Larry Dale Evans and his wife Betty of Greenville, and Jackie Lewis of Powdersville knew her as ?Mother?. She was ?Mema? to twelve grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and four great great-grandchildren. Willie was raised in Woodside, and she retired from Dan River Woodside Mill after over twenty years of service. She was loved by all who knew her, and will be truly missed. In lieu of flowers, make donations to Concerned Citizens for Animals of Simpsonville. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the home of the daughter, Jackie Lewis, 235 Colonial Drive, Easley, SC 29642. The family is at 235 Colonial Drive, Easley, SC 29642.
