Our beloved mother, Willie Mae Harris Fancher, 73, of 9460 Old White Horse Road, died on Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at Greenville Memorial Hospital after a prolonged illness. A native of Greenville, she was the daughter of the late J.J. Jimmy Harris, Sr. and Sunie Millwood Harris. Mrs. Fancher was retired from Celanese Fiber Industries and American Federal. She was a devoted Christian and member of Forestville Baptist Church. She was President of the PBX Club and member of Monaghan Eastern Star. She is survived by her sons, Fred Houston Fancher, Jr. and wife Janet, Timothy Jack Fancher and wife Pam, and James Bryan Fancher and wife Vanessa. Also surviving are two brothers, Furman L. and J.J. Dickie Harris, Jr. She was blessed with eight grandchildren, Sandi Fancher Penn, Christina Elaine Fancher, Eric and Amanda Fancher, Jennifer Fancher Campbell, April Barbosa and Anita Fancher. She also has eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Fancher is predeceased by her husband, Fred Houston Fancher, Sr., of forty-three years; a brother, Jessie Harris; and a grandson, Fred Houston Fancher III Kip. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 ? 7:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. Services will be held on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. at Forestville Baptist Church, Old McElhaney Road, Travelers Rest, SC. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetery, West. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association of Greenville, 16-A Brozzini Ct., Greenville, SC 29615. The family will be at the home, 9460 Old White Horse Road, Greenville.
