On Thursday, March 31, 2016, God decided that it was time for Zachary Ryan Magaha, 25, of Greenville, to come home and be with him, leaving behind his wife, Leona James Magaha; mother, Jeanne R. Magaha; dad, Gregg Bratcher; and grandmothers, Thelma O. Magaha and Cynthia B. Stancil.
He was a member of United Wesleyan Church and a big fan of the Clemson Tigers.
In addition to his loving wife, parents, and grandmothers, Zachary is survived by a brother, Michael Brantley; a cousin, whom he considered to be more like a brother, Richard Sean McGuire; numerous aunts and uncles, Kelvin Magaha (Lisa), Jesse R. Smith (Tina), James Stancil (Vicky), Donna Thurston (Frank), and Robert E. Stancil; a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and three special friends, Chevy, Precious, and Beasley.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Kye Magaha and Vance Stancil; and an aunt, Karen D. Waters.
A visitation will be held Monday, April 4, 2016 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest with a funeral service to follow at 1:30 p.m. in the Northwest chapel. Burial will be held in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
