Zane Alexander Shepherd, 19, of Piedmont, beloved husband of Amber Long Shepherd, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024.

Born in Greenville, SC, he was the son of Shad and Jessica Shepherd, and the late Jaquelyn Hathcox Shepherd.

Zane found joy in the simple pleasures of life, often spending his spare moments immersed in the world of gaming. His dedication to his passions was matched only by his commitment to hard work.

However, Zane’s greatest treasure was his family. He held a deep devotion to those closest to him, cherishing every moment spent with his beloved wife, Amber, and embracing his role as a son, brother, and friend with unwavering affection and loyalty.

Zane leaves behind a legacy of honesty, compassion, and love that touched the lives of all who knew him.

In addition to his beloved wife and parents, he is survived by brothers, Josh Johnson, Kameron Shepherd, Nathan Tritt, Samuel Tidwell, and Gage Shepherd; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Zane was such a kind, funny person. I’ll cherish the memory of playing games in the living room together when I visited for Thanksgiving. He will be missed greatly and I am grateful for the time I got to spend with him. Rest in peace Zane; it is not goodbye, but see you later. Sending lots of love from Rachel, Cory, and Killian.
